Ripley will hold their Pioneer Day Celebration on May 7, 2016. This year’s theme is “The Circus is coming to Ripley”. The Honorary class for this year’s parade is the Class of 1966 and will be the Grand Marshal. All members of this class are invited to be guest that day.

Ripley Pioneer Day is an annual celebration where the community, school, churches, businesses, alumni, family and friend come together for a day of fun. We would like to invite everyone to join us on this day.

If you would like to enter the parade which starts at 10:30 AM it would greatly appreciated. There will be prizes awarded in 3 categories, Bands, Open and School. First prize is $100.00 and 2nd prize will be $50.00. Enter a float, band, cars, trucks, bikes, horses or just walking. Everyone loves a parade.

Alumni Classes that end in the number 6 are ask to do something to represent their class and challenge the classes before and after them to do the same. Be in the parade, have a game booth, make some signs, hand out something stating that your class is still going strong, anything to make a statement.

The schedule for the day will be:
Parade Line up – 9:15 AM
Parade Starts – 10:30 PM
Music, games, food, and fun in the park – 11:30 AM
Alumni Banquet – 6:30 PM
Street Dance – 9:00 PM
More things to following when schedule is complete.
