(Stillwater, Okla.) — A 31-year-old Ripley man was charged today with child endangerment, drunk driving, following too closely, and failing to properly use child restraint, all on Tuesday in a case investigated by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, court records show.

Stephen Dwayne Ventris, who previously lived in Cushing, was being held in the Payne County Jail this afternoon on $10,000 bail pending an Oct. 2 court appearance, a sheriff’s spokesman told KUSH.
