(Cushing, Okla.)—Cushing Lions Club members were glad to have guest/speaker Richard Thackray in the house at their latest meeting.
Thackray, who agreed to take the lead with the Cushing Pride program, has a desire to help out in his new place of residence with beautification in any way he can.
Originally from Long Island New York, he moved to Broken Arrow in the mid 80’s where he was an Air Traffic Controller for 22 years, retiring in 2006. He then moved to Philadelphia for his wife’s career (Marie) and in February of 2017 he decided to make the move to Cushing for his retirement.
Thackry says he is retired, not dead!
