(Auburn, AL) – New Auburn head coach Gene Chizik continues to build his staff, and published reports say one of those being considered for a position is OSU Co-Offensive Coordinator Trooper Taylor. Taylor has been on the job at OSU only one season, after being hired away from Tennessee by Mike Gundy. Taylor arrived in Alabama over the weekend on the same plane carrying Curtis Luper, who Chizik hired away from OSU where he has been Assistant Head Coach and Running Backs coach. Chizik, who replaces Tommy Tuberville, has also hired Tulsa Offensive Coordinator Gus Malzahn, and former Iowa State Assistant Jay Boulware, who will handle special teams.

Taylor’s hiring could be announced today.
