(Cushing, Okla.) Relay for Life, Cushing, asks Cushing residents, teams and businesses to Go Purple in support of the fight against cancer. This year’s Relay for Life starts June 23rd at 5:30 p.m. at the Cushing High School track and will end with a sunrise service at 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 24th.
This year Relay for Life event chair Dedra Marotta said individuals and businesses are encouraged to show their support in the fight against cancer by decorating their homes and businesses in purple. There will be a contest to see which business, individual and team shows the most purple spirit during Turning Cushing Purple for the Cure (June 1st – June 23rd).
Wrap purple ribbons around light poles and trees – paint business windows in purple. Get creative and pull out all the stops in showing your support by going PURPLE!
