Like country music?  You are in luck!  Janet Rutland with Trailertown will be performing in Cushing Saturday, March 19th at 7:30 p.m. in the Dora Hobbs Performing Arts Center on the Cushing High School campus.  Rutland’s show – Real Country – is a gift to the community from Elmo Stidham.

Mr. Stidham, not only a businessman, but a musician and country music fan, is bringing Real Country to Cushing as a way to thank the community for all the years of supporting him in business and also as a thank you to the school system.  “My kids all went through Cushing Public Schools,” Stidham said.  “This is my way of thanking the community I love.”

Stidham would love to see a full house at this FREE One-Night-Only Show!  “It’s going to be a lot of fun.  I’ve seen Ms. Rutland and her show and it is some good old-fashioned country music,” Stidham said.

You WON’T want to miss this show!  Featuring all the songs you love like “Jackson,” “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Crazy” and more!  All performed by Rutland and Trailertown: “Ramblin Jack” Boydston, guitar; J.D. “Muddy” Water, steel guitar; Steve “Lefty Moe” Elmore, piano; Casey “Thumper” Van Beek, bass; and Matt “Gabby” Martin, drums.

Interviews with Elmo Stidham and Janet Rutland can be heard on the Donna and Molly Show 7 – 10 a.m. on 1600 KUSH radio SOON!  Stay tuned to find out when…
