When  I first met the fresh baby faced and quiet, Mr. Randy Robnett I guessed him to be around 25 years old. Well he is married and has three children and a thriving State Farm Insurance Agency here in Cushing. Randy Robnett grew up in Bethany, Oklahoma, and earned his BS degree at Southern Nazarene University where he met and married his wife Renee. Randy and Renee, and their three children Mackenzie (5), Caiden (3) and Morgan (1), moved to Cushing less than a year ago. He promptly joined the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. OK! He’s in the click. For those of you that complain about clicks in Cushing…there are numerous choices to be in one of the “friendly” clicks – Lions, Elks, Rotary, American Legion, Cushing Country Club, Chamber of Commerce – just to name a few. Or show up at the latest Habitat for Humanity House being built and lend a hand. Get to know the people of Jewels for Life, Loves INC, the Hospital Authority or volunteer for Festival in the Park..I just love clicks!

Randy shared with us that he had worked for other insurance agencies but over the years his experience gained him respect for State Farm in particular and he developed a strong desire to work for them as an agent.. With the passing of Dewayne Snelson, Randy  finally had his chance to do just that. He seized the opportunity. He adopted the experienced and long time associates of Dewayne Snelson, Mrs. Mary Daugherty, and Mrs. Dedra Marotta. The new State Farm team moved the location of State Farm in April, from N. Little to 1402 E Main St. in Cushing. State Farm Insurance Company was established in 1922 and has been the #1 Auto Insurance Companies since 1929. State Farm is a full service agency offering you a variety of professional insurance and financial services and products. They even offer banking services. I’m talking checking and savings account – and they finance loans. I will not attempt to include all of the services they provide, as there are too many to mention.

One thing I do want to be sure and mention is a supplemental insurance policy that Randy was explaining to our listeners. This policy is available for as low as $10.00 per month and offers you up to $250.00 per day in the event of an accident. With the football season coming up, it is ideal for children and young adults who will be playing sports. For Randy and the team, and State Farm agencies across the country, September will be Life Insurance Awareness month. Insurance is a complicated subject, so I won’t attempt to delve further into this subject. Ya’ll can call Randy, Dedra or Mary at (918) 225-1957 and ask them questions about insurance, retirement planning, financial planning investments or just go down to the corner of Main and Linwood and eat some popcorn and get an education about a vast variety of services available. I am sure they would be happy to help you as they are friendly and knowledgeable and can put it in terms you can understand. You can go to www.statefarm.com as well, and get a free quote on-line. I know I don’t have to ask ya’ll fine and friendly folks to welcome the Robnett family into the community. I just know they are gonna love it here. Thanks Randy for sharing a whole hour of your very busy day.
