It’s that time of the month again at Cushing Senior Citizen Center – time to celebrate those having birthdays. Seven seniors were on hand for a “photo op” with local media and a beautiful cake courtesy of Palmer-Marler Funeral Home.
The third Thursday of each month, Project Heart honors those with birthdays in that month. Those with June birthdays attending Thursday’s lunch celebration were: Juan Chacon, Sr., Richard Driggs, Larrie Parrish, Freddie Johnson, Sr., Velma Goodwin, Ruth Ann Johnson and her mother-in-law Paula Rodgers.
