(Cushing, Okla.) The Cushing Police Department will open the firearms training facility to the public again this Saturday(April 21st) and the first Saturday in May. Interested citizens should reserve their time slot today by calling 918-225-1212.
Time slots available are as follows: 8 – 10 a.m., 10 a.m. – noon, and 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 21st and Saturday, May 5th.
Time slots are limited to eight (8) shooters. Cushing police Sergeant Mark Jobe, an N.R.A. certified firearms instructor, will be at the firearms training facility to offer guidance to citizens during both open dates.
Citizens interested in participating are urged to call the police department at (918) 225-1212 to reserve a time slot.
All shooters are required to read and understand the range safety rules and sign a waiver of liability form prior to participating in range activities.
Remember to THINK SAFETY! Ear and eye protection is a MUST when using the firearms training facility. Anyone with questions may call the Cushing police department at (918) 225-1212 and speak to Deputy Chief Tully Folden.
