Cushing police recently announced the police firearms training facility will be open to the public during the month of June. Interested parties must schedule a time slot by calling 918-225-1212.
Cushing police will open the facility to the public, Saturday, June 11 and Saturday, June 25th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Available time slots are: 8 – 10 a.m., 10 a.m. – noon, and 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. on both days. Time slots are limited to 8 shooters.
Cushing police Sergeant Mark Jobe, an N.R.A. certified firearms instructor, will be at the training facility both days to offer guidance to citizens.
All shooters are required to read and understand the range safety rules and sign a waiver of liability form prior to participating in range activities. Ear and eye protection is a MUST when using the facility.
