(Cushing, Okla.) Today (Friday, Feb. 14, 2014) Payne County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a possible residential burglary in the area of Harmony and 9th. As a result of the investigation, deputies searched the area for an unidentified male subject that had fled the scene prior to their arrival.
Shortly after 8:30 a.m. Cushing Police Department notified Harmony School of the situation and that law enforcement would be in the area. After the search was concluded, school officials were notified.
At this time, the investigation remains open and is being handled by the Payne County Sheriff’s Department.
