This week’s featured pets are BRANDIE AND CANDIE. They are 7 month old Rottweiler puppies that have graduated from the Parole a Pet program.
The dogs have gone through the inmate dog training program at the Cimarron Correctional Facility. They have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and vet checked. But best of all – they have 8 – 10 weeks of one on one basic obedience training while living with an inmate at the prison. They are house and crate trained, can come when called, sit and down stay, heel, pay attention when asked and know several tricks.
