Pamela Jean Luper, a longtime Perkins resident, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Edmond Specialty Hospital in Edmond.  Private family service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Pamela was born on June 30, 1955 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Floyd and Norma (Spradling) Vogt.  She grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico, graduating from Hobbs High School in 1974.  She married the love of her life David Luper in June of 1976 in Stillwater, Ok.  They made their home in Perkins.  Pamela worked for home health care where she took care of many residents.  She loved visiting with friends.  Pamela never met a stranger, she was always outgoing and friendly to all.

Pamela is survived by her father Floyd Wayne Vogt of Andrews, Tx., brothers Charles Vogt and wife Nancy of Whitney, Tx., Ronald Vogt of Midland, Tx., nieces Cheryl Brown and husband Doug, Karen Buckner and husband Ronnie, great nieces Tristen Brown, Bryson Brown and Dustin Hathcock.
