(Stillwater)- Oklahoma State University officials have confirmed the death of a student, who is believed to have died from natural causes. In a statement released from the University, OSU President Dr. Marlene Strathe said that Ashleigh Hagerman, a freshman in electrical engineering from Sweetwater, Okla., died overnight at her residence in Drummond Hall of natural causes believed to be related to an ongoing health condition.

Strathe says that University Counseling Services is on site to assist students in Drummond Hall and is available to all students who may need help in dealing with this loss, or any concern. Residential Life personnel also are helping students in Drummond. University Counseling Services may be reached at 744-5458.
