Ora LaVesta (Kizer) Fritchman went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 5th, 2009 while surrounded by her family.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Yale and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2009 in the Church of God in Yale with burial to follow in the Lawson Cemetery.

Ora was born on April 16th, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Grover Cleveland Kizer and Martha Ann (Reece) Kizer. She married Raymond Eugene Fritchman on April 12, 1941 in Pawnee, OK. She lived in the Glencoe and Yale areas for most of her life where she was a farmer as well as a Certified Medical Assistant at the Yale Nursing Home for more than 20 years. Ora also worked at the Stillwater nursing home.

Ora was a member of the Church of God in Yale and in her spare time she enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, and canning.

Survivors include one daughter, Flo Bullard of Stillwater, one daughter-in-law Leota Fritchman of Yale, four sons, Wesley Fritchman and his wife Tonya of Glencoe, Jack Fritchman and his wife Kay of Yale, Leonard Fritchman and his wife Gloria of Yale, and Randy Fritchman and his wife Elsie of Yale; one sister, Anna Belle Nelson of Ponca City; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Ora was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Danny Fritchman; three grandsons, James D. Poplin, James M. Poplin, and Brock Fritchman; one great-grandson, Zander Fritchman; two sisters; and six brothers.
