(Cushing, Okla.) — Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a collision occurred at 11:35 (pm) yesterday on Ripley Road 1/10 mile north of Yost Road ( 2 miles south, and 1 mile east of Glencoe city limits) in Payne County.
Eric Flores (22) of Glencoe, Oklahoma was driving a 1993 Ford F250 southbound, when he came around a small curve, departing the roadway to the left, striking the ground, and falling down a thirty foot embankment, coming to rest on the wheels.
Flores was transported by private vehicle to Stillwater Medical Center, where he was treated and released. Jonda Clark (33) of Franklin, IN. a passenger in Flores vehicle was transported by ambulance to Stillwater Medical Center in stable condition with head, arm, leg, trunk internal, and trunk external injuries
According to OHP the accident was caused by inattentive driving. The odor of alcoholic beverages was present.
Seat-belts were reportedly in use.
