(Cushing, Okla.) — According to OHP reports a collision occurred yesterday at 3:47 (pm), 0.3 miles West of Euchee Valley Road (2 miles east of Cushing, Oklahoma) on State Highway 33.

The 2012 Ford F250 was traveling west bound on State Highway 33 when for some reason the vehicle left the roadway departing left. The truck then crossed the center median as well as both east bound lanes of traffic before going off the road on the south side. The truck struck several trees and an embankment – rolling about a half turn before coming to rest on its top. Robinson was pinned for an unknown period of time prior to being freed by the Cushing Fire Department. Michael Robison (59) of Cushing, was transported by Cushing EMS to Hillcrest Hospital Cushing then by helicopter to St. Johns Hospital (Tulsa) where he was admitted in stable condition with multiple injuries.

Seat-belts were in use and the side bag deployed.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
