(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
An injury collision occurred November 5th (2018) at approximately 1:41 pm on SH66, 5/10 of a mile west of 273rd West Avenue, 3 miles west of Kellyville, in Creek County.
Brandi L. Thurman, (39) of Bristow, was driving a 2006 Honda Odyssey westbound on SH66 when the vehicle crossed the center line, and drifted off of the left side of roadway striking a tree.
Thurman was admitted by Creek County EMS to St John Hospital (Tulsa) with her injuries. The children that were in the vehicle are ages 1, 2, and 3 and were not injured according to the DPS report.
Seat-belts were equipped and in use by the driver and all of the passengers had child restraint systems in place according to the DPS report.
The DPS report shows the cause of the collision was DUI (alcohol).
