(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.

 

An injury collision involving three vehicles occurred on August 1st (2015) at 01:31 (pm) on I35 close to the 101 mile marker, northbound, in Goldsby, Oklahoma (McClain County).

 

Patrick Scott Alexander (49) of Oklahoma City, Anne Porter Matlock (35) of Stillwater, and Linda M. Taylor (62) of Running Springs, California were all drivers of vehicles that were involved in this accident.

 

Alexander was driving the 2011 Ford Escape that ran into the back of Porter pushing the 2004 Toyota Highlander that she was driving into the center median. Alexander continued on striking Taylor’s 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Pick Up from behind. The Chevrolet Silverado had stopped for traffic that had backed up from a different accident.

 

Alexander was transported by Wadley’s EMS to Purcell ER, and then on to OU Medical in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in good condition. Neither Porter nor her juvenile passenger from Stillwater was transported. Taylor and her passengers Deborah K. Wright (64), Brittney Grinder (18) and three juveniles ages 7 months to 5 years of age were not transported (Taylor’s passengers were all from Running Springs, California).

 

According to DPS reports driver distraction was the cause of Collision. Seatbelts were equipped and in use in all Vehicles.
