(Stillwater, Okla) The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a traffic accident this morning on State Highway 51 sent one person to the hospital.
According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred about 9:45 this morning near the intersection of State Highway 51 and Mehan Road.
According to the Highway Patrol’s report, a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 74-year-old Stillwater resident Rebecca M. Buster swerved to miss a slow moving vehicle and went left of center striking the driver side door of a 2005 Chevrolet Pickup driven by 73-year-old William H. Ooten of Glencoe.
Buster was transported by LifeNet EMS to Stillwater Medical Center where she was admitted in stable condition.
The Highway Patrol reports both vehicles had seat belts in use.
