Olive Fay (Austin) Dawes was born September 2, 1919 to Oren and Inez (Emde)
Austin in Chandler. She passed away March 24 in the Drumright Nursing Home at the
Age of 94.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Ronald, a brother Oren Austin, and two sisters,
Violet Rule and Ramona Leffingwell.
She is survived by her husband, Gene, two sons, Phil Fowler of Talihina and
Theldon Fowler and wife Janice of Cushing. Seven grandchildren, sixteen great
grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge
Cemetery. Located 4 miles north and 3 ¼ miles west of Chandler, Ok.
