(Drumright, Okla.)  Looking for some fun?  Drumright’s OilPatch Jamboree kicks off Friday evening, Sept. 30th, with music by the Bo Phillips Band at 6 o’clock and the smell of barbecue as competitors begin preparing their food for the 1st Annual Smokin’ in the Patch cook off.

It’s all happening in Whitlock Park.

The Jamboree Jog, a 5-kilometer sanctioned race sponsored by Drumright Dental Center, begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1st, with registration and line up at 8 a.m. at Spirit Bank. 

The World Famous Oilpatch Parade starts at 11 a.m.  There will be bikes, cool cars and hot trucks on display as well as oilfield gear and equipment.

And the smell of the barbecue of the 1st Annual Smokin’ in the Patch Cookoff!

Purchase a $5 Taster Kit to get a taste of the barbecue in the 1st Annual Smokin’ in the Patch Cookoff featuring brisket, ribs, chicken and pulled pork.

Take a stroll through the Oilpatch Museum and then sit back and listen to Flat River Band at 1:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited to come join the fun at the Oilpatch Jamboree, sponsored by Keystone Gas Corp, Independent Trucking, Swiner Well Service, Drumright Community Historical Museum and the Drumright Chamber of Commerce.
