(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA – 03/23/2022) — On March 23, 2022, at 12:15 p.m., the Stillwater Police Department Multi-Agency Special Operation Team prepared to execute a high-risk search warrant in the 400 block of S. Burdick which resulted in a short pursuit, shot fired with no injuries and suspects apprehended.
As the team prepared to serve the warrant, officers observed a vehicle leaving the target house and then pursued the vehicle. After initiating a traffic stop, the vehicle led a short pursuit and drove back to their house. Upon arrival, the male suspect exited the vehicle and tried to flee on foot. As officers pursued the suspect, he pulled a firearm while being chased. One of the officers then fired his duty weapon. The individual was not struck and was taken into custody. A female that was also in the fleeing vehicle was taken into custody.
Detectives with the Stillwater Police Department are on scene processing the crime scene.
