(Stillwater, Okla.) In a case investigated by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Nebraska man was arraigned Monday from the Payne County Jail on charges of trafficking 30.8 grams of methamphetamine on Friday and possessing an undisclosed amount of money derived from drug sales.
Jimmy R. Grossman Jr., 43, of McCook, NE., was ordered held on $75,000 bail pending a Sept. 8 court appearance with an attorney.
If convicted of both felony counts, Grossman could be given as much as two life prison terms and a $250,000 fine, court records show.
Also in the OHP case, a Nebraska woman was arraigned Monday from the Payne County Jail on charges of possessing methamphetamine in the presence of two children under the age of 12 on Friday, and also possessing drug paraphernalia described as syringes.
Jennifer M. Pronechen, 40, of McCook, NE., was ordered held on $30,000 bail pending a Sept. 8 court appearance with an attorney.
If convicted of both counts, Pronechen could be incarcerated for as much as 21 years and fined $21,000, court records show.
