Services are scheduled for Myron (Andy) F. Anderson July 29, 2010 – 1:00 at the Mannford Chruch of Christ, Greenwood Ave Mannford, Oklahoma. The Rev Tony Keese will officiate.
He died July 14, 2010 in his home in Mannford, he was 84.
Myron Forshee Anderson Known as Andy was born October 3, 1926 in Huron, Kansas to the late Howard and Esther Anderson, he was educated in Huron and reared in Scott City, Kansas
In 1949 he married Mary J. Dahna, in Scott City, Kansas they were together 52 years before her death in 2001.
Andy and Mary resided in Valley Center, Kansas in the Body Shop business. In the late 1970’s they moved to Mannford, owned and operated Andy’s Body Shop and Wrecker Service until they retired. Andy enjoyed helping people and fixing anything, he had a wealth of knowledge and talent he shared. Andy was a proud Air Force Veteran, life time member of the Mannford VFW also was proud to be a Mason.
He is survived by loving children, one son Allen Anderson, Shamrock OK one daughter Ardell Greenwood, Mannford OK; 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Juanita Lewis and her husband Wendell of Kennewick Wa., Marion Rohrbough of Scott City, Ks, cousins in Kansas, Iowa and numerous friends.
Services are under the direction of Add Vantage Funeral Home.
