Mrs. Hertha Magdalena Evans, 84 a resident of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday October 3, 2013, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
She was born January 16, 1929, in Munich, to the late Jakob Egger and Franziska Ochsenkuhn Egger. Mrs. Evans was a resident of Fayetteville for more than 50 years. She served as a volunteer at Fort Bragg Thrift Shop for more than 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee T. Evans and a sister, Erika Egger
She leaves behind a loving family and numerous friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Yvonne Lahrman and husband Garry, of Creston, Shirley Simone and husband Jim, of Lake Orion Michigan, and Tina Bush and husband Mark of San Antonio Texas, one sister, Margot Binas of Fayetteville Arkansas; eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 at the First Free Will Baptist Church burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing.
