Early morning thunderstorms that passed through the Cushing area caused the traffic signals near Wal-Mart to malfunction. Because repairs cannot be completed until tomorrow, the traffic signals have been set to flash only. Drivers should use extreme caution when driving in the area.
“It is our hope to have the traffic signals repaired tomorrow as soon as the parts arrive,” said Mike Harris, Cushing Electric Distribution Superintendent. “Anytime one of our traffic signals is not functioning correctly, it becomes a priority because we want all motorists to operate safely on our streets,” Harris said.
