(Cushing,Okla) — Cushing Board of Commissioner will hold its monthly meeting tonight, Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 at 7 pm at City Hall, along with the Board of Trustees for Cushing Municipal Authority and Cushing Industrial Authority. This meeting is open to the public.
Cushing Board of Commissioners agenda includes:
General Business – a.) Consider and take action on a request for a Conditional Use Permit for the purpose of placing a mobile home at 322 West Pine. b.) Acceptance of the Airport Rescue Grant (Grant #3-40-0023-024-2022 from the Federal Aviation Administration for the Cushing Regional Airport.
Resolutions – a.) Resolution No. 37-2021: A resolution authorizing the Chairman, Board of Commissioners, to execute a lease agreement with Five Star Interlocal Co-Op for the lease of real estate and premises located at 1405 East Moses. b.) Resolution No. 38-2021: A resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) in an amount up to $129,120.00 for the South Thompson Avenue culvert replacement project and to authorize payment. c.) Resolution No. 39-2021: A resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) in the amount of $135,820.00 for the South Linwood Avenue bridge replacement project and to authorize payment.
Ordinances – a.) Ordinance No. 11-15-21-03: An ordinance rezoning certain property located at Lots Nine (9), Ten (10), Eleven (11), Twelve (12), Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16), Suderridge Addition, a replat of a portion of Quail Creek Addition, a part of the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Two (2), Township Seventeen (17) North, Range Five (5) East of the Indian Meridian, from R-2 PUD (Planned Unit Development) to R-3 District (Multi-Family Residential) within the City of Cushing and declaring an emergency.
The Cushing Municipal Authority agenda includes a resolution to authorize the City Manager to issue a purchase order to Altec Industries, Inc. in an amount up to $125.000.00 for the purchase of a 2023 AT-37G Series Ford F550 full truck and to authorize payment.
As for Cushing Industrial Authority business, the agenda includes executive sessions to discuss matters pertaining to economic development, including financial assistance to entice a business for community economic benefit, pursuant to 25 OS 307(C)(11).
