Mona Carol (Pryor) Greenfield was born November 26, 1938 to Earl and Beulah Crank Pryor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She passed from this life on June 22, 2012 at the age of 73.

Services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OK. and will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, Parkland, OK., burial will follow in the Parkland cemetery.

After Mona was born, her parents moved to Olympia, Washington.  When she was 3 ½ months old her sister, April Elaine Pryor passed away on March 2, 1939 at the age of 1 year and 10 months.  Her mother, Beulah, passed away 4 months later on July 22, 1939.   With the passing of her sister and mother, this left Mona and her Grandpa, Bro. Dave Crank, the only living survivors of Brother Dave Crank’s first family. 

After the passing of his wife, Beulah, Earl packed their bags and moved to Oklahoma.  When Mona was almost 2, Earl married Emily McClain on September 14, 1940, and made their home in Indianapolis, Indiana.  To this union, six more children were born, Betty, Phillip, Phyllis, Linda, Arlet, and Scott.

On August 20, 1948, Mona was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn by Bro. Tim Clark.  In 1956, she graduated from Manual High School, in Indianapolis.  After graduating from high school she worked 3 years at Indiana Bell Telephone Company.  In 1959 at the 4th of July meetings at Parkland, Ok, she met Hubert Greenfield.  After a short engagement of 6 weeks, they were married on August 21, 1959 by Bro. Ray Hamner in Indianapolis.

After they were married, they made their home in the Parkland area.  During their time in Oklahoma, Berta Carol was born unto this blessed union.  In 1960, they moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where they were blessed with 3 more children, Brian Kent, Estel Keith and Kendra Elaine.  In 1966, they moved to Cushing, Oklahoma, where they were blessed with 1 more child, Devin Earl.

Hubert and Mona enjoyed 52 years together.  She loved to cook and try out new recipes.  She enjoyed traveling and visited all 50 states and several other countries.  For over 35 years, she helped her husband in the Townecraft cookware business.  She loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents Earl, Beulah and Emily Pryor, sisters’ April and Linda Pryor.  She is survived by husband Hubert, of Yale, Ok; daughters Berta Jackson and husband Ken of Cushing; Kendra Pruitt and husband Phil of Cushing; sons Brian Greenfield and wife Nina of Glenpool; Keith Greenfield and wife Dana of Mounds; and Devin Greenfield and wife Davena of Yale; 13 grandchildren, Skyler Ratliff and husband Austin of Tulsa; Carson, Ryan, and Kimber Greenfield of Glenpool; Austin Greenfield of Tahoka, Texas and his fiancé Kendra Whitson of Oklahoma City; Kelsie Greenfield of Mounds; Winston Pruitt of Indianapolis, Indiana; April Pruitt of Cushing; Seth Greenfield and wife Autumn of Yale; Ray, Trenton, Carolyn and Donna Greenfield of Yale; sisters Betty Gift of Jacksonville, Florida; Phyllis Fleenor of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers Phillip and wife Paula Pryor of Greenwood, Indiana; Arlet and wife Vickie Pryor of Zionsville, Indiana; and Scott and wife Janet Pryor of Greenwood, Indiana; nieces, nephews, loved ones, and many dear friends.  Her memory will always be alive in our hearts.
