STILLWATER, Okla. �” Roper Freeman, a Digital Media student at Meridian Technology Center, was recently awarded second place for his submission to the National Youth Safety Video Contest sponsored by CareerSafe.

CareerSafe is the country’s leading provider of online OSHA 10-Hour safety training specifically designed for youth. The National Youth Safety Video Contest gives students the opportunity to show their creativity and knowledge of safety by creating their own workplace safety training videos.

The Perkins senior received a scholarship to use toward his education and a scholarship awarded to Meridian for classroom equipment.
