(Cushing, Okla.) Cushing veterans will host Memorial Day ceremonies and luncheon on Monday, May 30th. American Legion Post 108 will be at City Hall at 9 a.m. for the first ceremony of the day. The Post will also hold a ceremony at Fairlawn-New Zion Cemetery at 11 a.m. VFW Post 1118 will hold a Memorial Day program at 11 a.m. at Euchee Valley Cemetery.
Immediately following the 11 a.m. ceremony, a meal will be served at VFW Post 1118, hosted by the Post and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. The meal will consist of smothered pork chops, ham, vegetables, salad and dessert.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
