(Cushing, Okla) — The regular monthly meeting of the Cushing Board of Commissioners, and meetings of the Board of Trustees for Cushing Municipal Authority, Cushing Industrial Authority, Cushing Hospital Authority and will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 beginning at 7 pm at City Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
Agenda items for Cushing Board of Commissioners, include a special presentation to Sgt. Matthew Hiat by Chairman Griffith and Chief Chuck Claxton, a special presentation by the Geographic Club and a proclamation for National Day of Prayer.
Also on the agenda – Public Hearing to receive recommendations on community development needs within the City of Cushing.

In Cushing Municipal Authority business, trustees will consider Resolution No. 09-2023: A resolution relating to a Community Development Block Grant for sanitary sewer improvements committing up to $442,800.00 as leverage from the Cushing Community Authority.

In the special joint meeting of the Cushing Industrial Authority and Cushing Hospital Authority Board of Trustees, the agenda includes discussion and action to authorize the City Manager to issue a purchase order to Stryker in an amount up to $88,102.42 for two (2) sets of surgical suite equipment and to authorize payment, and further, to accept a donation from the Cushing Hospital Foundation for half of the cost of the equipment.
