Mayron Kay Osborn, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at his home at the age of 87 surrounded by his loving family.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock, Oklahoma. Michael Neefe will officiate. Interment will follow at Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Ok.

 

Uncle Kay as everyone that knew him was born on May 1, 1927, to the late Andrew and Emily (Reed) Osborn in Hastings, Oklahoma. He attended school in Hastings and moved with his parents to Arizona, and California. Mayron (Uncle Kay) meet and married the love of his life Pearl Irving on April 25, 1958. He enjoyed being outdoors; fishing and camping were two of his favorite things he enjoyed. He would tell stories about fishing all night long in California. Most of all he loved ALL of his nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Uncle K raised and cared for all of them as if they were his own children.

 

Mayron is survived by his loving wife Pearl Osborn of the home, one brother: Ray Osborn and wife Carolyn of Casa Grand Az., one sister: Billie Halligan of Mounds Ok., and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, four sisters: Noah Osborn, Balvia Coogan, Alvia Reed Worsham, Velma Regan, and Jewel Hunt, one brother: Bill Osborn
