Mary Louise Helvy, age 80 of Oilton, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at South Crest Hospital in Tulsa. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2011 at Christ Fellowship Church in Oilton.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton.
Mary was born on May 15, 1931 in Beardstown, Illinois to the late Eugene O. and Mary E. (Carls) Loe. Mary grew up and graduated from High School in Illinois. She married and moved to California; to this union six children were born. Mary worked very hard to raise her children. She was very generous and giving to others, always putting them first. She moved with her family to Oilton in 1977. Mary attended the Freewill Baptist Church. Mary worked at the Drumright Nursing Home for over ten years. She also was a caregiver to many in their homes. Mary loved watching all the sporting events that involved her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time and playing skipbo at senior citizens. Mary also enjoyed her puzzle books. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her son Roland Quinn and wife Amy of Oilton, daughters Gloria Peterson and husband Rick of Tulsa, Sheila Huff and husband Greg of Rosamond, California, Victoria Arellano and husband Danny of Vancouver, WA., Cheryl Quinn and husband Joe Pipersky of Thousand Oaks, California, Roanne Prince of Los Angeles, California, grandchildren Brittney Quinn, Tyler Quinn, Justice Quinn, Alyssa Quinn, Steven Pipersky, Brandon Pipersky, Frank Princes, Kira Huff, Serina Huff, Morgan Hall and Gerad Hall, and one great grandson Ryland James Crawford.
Mary was preceded in death by her Parents.
