Maelvina Elizabeth Tinnie of Cushing, died February 14, 2009 at the age of 84. She was born Maelvina Elizabeth Flippo on July 7, 1925 in Kellyville, Ok. Maelvina was united in marriage to Marion Tinnie, who preceded her in death.
She grew up in the Cushing area. Maelvina attended the Salvation Army Church, where she was very actively involved. She worked for the Salvation Army Store in Cushing and rang the bell for a number of years. Maelvina enjoyed working in her garden, knitting and crocheting.
“Vina” Tinnie is survived by her three children Laura, Leroy and Teresa Tinnie, grandson Steven Tinnie whom she lived most of her life with, other grandchildren and great grandchildren and relatives.
Graveside service are being handled by Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
