Cushing Regional Hospital will be hosting a Lunch & Learn Seminar Friday, March 26th in the CRH Auxiliary Education Room.  The topic will be Identity Protection: Keeping YOU Safe  Featured Presenter is Carol Mandlebaum, Statewide Outreach and Training Coordinator – Oklahoma Insurance Department, SHIP.

The Lunch & Learn will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. with lunch served from 11:30 a.m.- noon and the speaker from noon until 1 p.m.

Ms. Mandlebaum will focus on helping seniors stay safe in a world where they are vulnerable to scams.  Those attending can learn about identity theft as well as medical scams as it relates to healthcare; learn to avoid purchasing medical items that are advertised on TV when the ad says they “guarantee that Medicare will pay.”  They can also learn about the importance of shredding confidential documents – what documents to shred, what to keep and where to keep them.
