Lucille Lamb of Cushing, Oklahoma passed away at the Drumright Nursing Home on June 11, 2014 at the age of 93.

Service will be held on Monday, June 16th at 10:00 am at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, OK.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Palmer-Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.

     Lucille was born on February 1, 1921 in Fulton County, Arkansas to the late Atlee B. and Claudia (Taylor) Combs. At the age of four she moved to Oklahoma in a covered wagon traveling over the Boston Mountains, they finally settled in the Cushing area where she attended school at Happy Valley, and Harmony School. Lucille married the love of her life John Phillip Lamb and was married on January 4, 1953 in Cushing Oklahoma. To this union one child was born Etha Elaine Lamb, Lucille enjoyed being a mother and spending time outside, she liked raising chickens, selling their eggs, and working in the garden and canning the fruits of her labors from the garden. She loved to sew and cook; she enjoyed spending time taking Joy Sadler and Etha many different places. Lucille even took the time to teach her grandson Jonathan how to be a carpenter, she enjoyed taking family trips to Branson, she loved her grandson Jonathan and his wife Sarah, and son-in-law Paul, but she was crazy about her great grandson Preston.

     She is survived by her daughter Etha Tinnie and husband Paul of Cushing, Grandson Jonathan Tinnie and wife Sarah of Cleveland, one Great grandson Preston of Cleveland, sister-in-laws: LaDara Combs of Cushing, Essie Combs of Houston Texas, Edith Moore of Cushing, Ethel Roberson of Stroud, Zora Lamb of Stillwater, many nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband John, five brothers: Adrian, Orgel, Norman, Doyle, and Ancil Combs.
