Lionel Dale Greenfield, a longtime Tryon resident, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at his daughter’s home in Okmulgee at the age of 77. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Ok. Brother Fred Britton will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Ok.
The family will greet friends at the Funeral Home from 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
Lionel Dale Greenfield was born in Chandler, Oklahoma on April 12, 1937 to Claude Harvey Greenfield and Ira Mae Jackson Greenfield. He was one of twelve children. He married his love Shirley Ann Anderson Greenfield in 1955, they had four children. Two of which preceded him in death are Billy Dale Greenfield and Jimmy Carl Greenfield. Two surviving are Rickey Eugene Greenfield of Cushing, Ok and Sandra Lorraine Greenfield Chester Conforti whom resides in Okmulgee, Ok with her husband Kevin Conforti.
Lionel has five grandchildren: Sandra Chester Wooten whom resides in Okmulgee, Ok with her husband Steven Wooten and three children. Pamela Tillman whom resides in Tulsa, Ok with her husband Kevin Tillman and two children. Vickie Mae resides in Afton, Ok with her three children. Jon conforti of Cushing, Ok. Rickey Dale Chester, has three children.
Lionel has a total of 11 great grandchildren.

Lionel and Shirley enjoyed 59 years together, they moved to Tryon, Ok in 1979 and made a home there. He attended and was baptized in the General Assembly and Church of the First Born in Parkland, Ok.
Lionel was very loving and caring. He was the most amazing husband, father and grandfather..and was a wonderful friend to many. He was a man whose family looked up to him, and always went to for advise and was the most wisest man they have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
He will forever be missed and very loved.
