Kenneth (Killer) Harris, lifelong Cushing resident, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the age of 60 years.
Ken was born to Ruby (Harvison) McDowell and Howard G Harris on September 20, 1953 in Cushing where he was raised and educated, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1973.
He worked for several years for the Cushing Police Department before working for Quadgraphics Printing in Stillwater. When they closed he went to work for Wal-Mart.
Ken loved playing with his grandsons, working on cars and talking to friends at Wal-Mart.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tina, of the home; two sons, Howard of Stillwater and David and his wife, Karri, of Cushing; two grandsons, James and Jaxson of Cushing; his mother, Ruby, of Broken Arrow; three sisters, Deanie and husband, Ronnie, of Louisiana, Glenda of Broken Arrow and Connie and husband, Rick, of Porter; brother, Doug and wife, Nita, of Broken Arrow; his in-laws, James and Marilyn Godfrey of Cushing; brother-in-law, Ron Godfrey of Tulsa; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Ken was preceded in death by his father and both sets of grandparents.
A celebration of life will be Friday, May 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Floyd Family Center.
