(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A personal injury collision occurred on Friday, August 21st (2015) at approximately 11:40 (pm) on west 151st Street South, about 2 miles west of Kiefer in Creek County.
Douglas W. Elmore (53) of Kiefer was driving a 2010 Harley Davison motorcycle west on 151st street south, when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a culvert.
Elmore was transported by Creek County EMS to St Francis Hospital (Tulsa) where he was admitted in stable condition with head injuries.
The DPS report shows that the collision was caused due to traveling at speed other than reasonable and proper. There was also an odor of alcohol present.
