According to Red Dirt Ranger John Cooper, he has had the great pleasure over the past couple of years to get to know one of the finest singer/songwriters in our area, Jubal Lee Young. Hailing from Austin, Nashville, and now the Tulsa area, Jubal has been involved in music all of his life. Both his parents, Steve Young and Terry Newkirk, are gifted musicians and songwriters, and those gifts were obviously passed on to him.
His new record “On A Dark Highway”, has been getting lots of airplay on “alternative” radio stations all over the country. He considers this his finest effort to date and when you hear him perform them live you’ll understand why. Cooper states, “I look forward to bringing this outstanding artist to the CCC and hope you’ll make plans to join us.”
This event is open to the public. There is a $5.00 cover charge for non-members and no cover charge for Cushing Country Club members.
