Jody Ray Chesmore, 43, a Cushing resident, passed from this life on August 9, 2010. Funeral Services will be held Thurs, Aug 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Palmer Marler Funeral Chapel in Cushing with internment to follow at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Cushing.
Jody was born on October 3, 1966 to Charles Ray Carol (Ballard) Chesmore. He grew up in Cushing, where he graduated from high school with the Class of 1985. He worked in Perkins for Wilhoite Properties Sterling Park Apartments. He loved spending time with his family and his dog Ginger. In his spare time he enjoyed playing drums, video games, ham radio, and cruising on his Harley-Davidson.
Jody is survived by his mother Carol Ross of Cushing; sister Angie Dingman and husband Dave of Springfield, MO; girlfriend Clarissa Sartors and her children Michaella and Logan; aunts, Fayetta Jacob and Patsy Jo Christy, uncle Charles Ballard, nephews Chris Thompson and Matt Thompson, great nephew Braden Thompson, as well as many other relatives and friends, including best friend Junior Preston.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles, step-father Donald Ross, and nephew Justin Thompson.
