Jerva M. Cackler passed away on Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 in Cushing at the age of 84 years.
The daughter of the late William Bush and Gladys Wilson Bush, Jerva was born on August 30, 1925 in Bristow, OK and was reared and educated in Bristow.
She was united in marriage to Richard Dwight Cackler on Oct. 29, 1943 in Bristow and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2009.
Jerva attended the New Hope Fellowship Church; she enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, traveling, square dancing and camping.
Survivors include one daughter Barbara Hungate and her husband Don of Cushing; two sons, Chuck Cackler and his wife JoAnne of Bixby and Rick Cackler of Cushing; two sisters, Billie Jo Nelson of Kansas and Donna Caudle of Mannford; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ron Cackler and David Cackler, and two sister’s Louise Osborn and Nona Wycoff.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday morning, Sept. 24, 2009 at 10 A.M. in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Steve Orton, pastor of New Hope Fellowship Church, officiating.
