(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Jennings man who was placed on probation less than four months ago for methamphetamine possession was charged today with possessing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of Cushing High School on Monday, as well as having drug paraphernalia.
Ryan Allen Sharp, 27, who formerly lived in Cushing, was scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon from the Payne County Jail on the two-count charge, court records show.
If convicted, Sharp could be incarcerated for 21 years and fined $11,000, court records show.
Less than four months ago, Sharp was placed on five years’ probation with an order to serve 10 days in jail for possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in Cushing on Dec. 19, 2013, court records show.
Sharp was also ordered to comply with the methamphetamine registry, have random drug testing, undergo a substance abuse evaluation and perform any recommended follow-up, as a condition of his five-year deferred sentence.
Sharp was also ordered to perform 100 hours of community service within one year and to pay $1,600 in fines and assessments, as well as the cost of his incarceration, court records show.
