James “Frank” Rush, former Cushing resident now of Edmond, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the age of 78 years.
The son of the late Dennis A Rush and Mary L. Wise Rush, Frank was born on March 14, 1930 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma and was reared and educated in Cushing.
He was united in marriage to Ellen Fay Asher and to this union four daughters, Treasa, Mary, Linda and Rita were born.
Frank was survived by four daughters, Treasa Hardick and her husband Mahlon of Edmond, Mary Carruth and her husband Dewayne of Oklahoma City, Linda Campbell and her husband Douglas of Edmond and Rita Price and her husband Clarence of Sapulpa; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother Robert his wife Wilma; a half brother J.R. and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in the Maramec Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Clouse officiating.
