“We always support local Oklahoma artists at KUSH, but are especially happy when we can elevate one of our own. Jake Flint brings the whole package: uptempo tune, small town lyrics that aren’t cliché, ace production (Mike McClure), name checks a bunch of Oklahoma music, and nice mandolin and guitar solos. What’s not to like?”

(NASHVILLE, TN)  — Oklahoma Red Dirt artist, Jake Flint, continues to gain traction at radio with his goodtime fun debut single, “Cowtown,” which landed at #76 last week on the Texas Regional Radio Report.

While he climbs the charts and cements his reputation on the concert trail, Flint also spread a little hometown love when he made an appearance on the morning show, Good Day Tulsa, on KTUL ABC channel 8 in Tulsa on Monday, December 18.

Flint maintains a busy slate of live performances, including a recent packed show at Ole Red Tishomingo, a Blake Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties joint-venture venue in the Platinum-selling recording artist’s hometown of Tishomingo, OK. The venue theme was inspired by the Shelton’s hit song by the same name. Flint is scheduled for a return show at Ole Red Tishmingo on January 14, 2018.

Flint is also currently on a multi-city radio tour that has taken him across Oklahoma and Texas.
