Cushing, Oklahoma (June 10, 2019) – Hillcrest Cushing is proud to announce the hiring of Lori Butler, RN, manager of the med/surg unit, and Jade Watson, RN, manager of case management and utilization review.
Watson works with patients, families, physicians and staff to make informed decisions by acting as their advocate regarding their clinical status and treatment options as well as to arrange services with social services, health and governmental agencies.
Watson has worked in several different nursing settings including ICU, ER, obstetrics and oncology nursing. In addition to her extensive nursing experience, Watson is a certified critical care RN. She is a native Cushing resident who graduated valedictorian of the 2008 Cushing High School class.
“It has been such an amazing and rewarding experience for me to move back to Cushing, the community that raised me up, to support and grow the very hospital I was born in,” Watson said. “Full circle at its finest.”
Watson holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Prairie View A&M University.
Butler, who grew up in Blackwell, Oklahoma, previously worked at Blackwell Regional Hospital in the med/surg unit, as well as Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama, and she was a travel nurse in Nevada and New Mexico.
“The answer is simple on why I wanted to work at Hillcrest Cushing – the people and culture at the hospital,” Butler said.
Butler graduated from Northern Oklahoma College, and she is married with three children.
