(Cushing, Okla.)  The 30th Annual Festival in the Park will be held from 9 am – 2 pm in Memorial Park in Cushing this Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018.

There will be plenty of free children’s activities, including rides and bounce houses, non-profit organizations food booths, magic shows by Capstone the Magician, kid’s performances on stage from 9 am – noon, along with a variety of art, artisans, and vintage market booths. Lachenmeyer Arts Center will be offering the chance to do Raku for a nominal fee, and other artist booths will offer a similar chance to make art.

“There are no two booths with the exact same product,” said Cushing Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tracy Caulfield.

The Girl Scout Hut will host a comfort area for families to bring their children should they need a diaper change or just some time away from all the excitement.

The KUSH Girls, Molly and Joyce, will be emceeing the stage with Golden Reflections and DJ Express providing sound and music.

Cushing Lions Club will be hosting their annual Chili Cook-Off again this year. Be sure to stop by the booths located behind the stage and purchase a taster kit for only $5 and cast your vote for your favorite chili!

Prior to the festivities, a ribbon cutting and dedication of the statue on “duck pond island” will be held at approximately 8 o’clock for those wishing to attend. The Grappler 5K Run will start at 8:30 am at the Cushing Aquatic Center.

Art! Food! Music! Magic! and much, much MORE! There’s something for everyone at this year’s Festival in the Park!
