(Cushing) — Cushing Police have called in the help of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to look into the possible embezzlement of funds from the Cushing Quarterback Club. The Quarterback club is a booster organization for the Cushing High School Football team.

Cushing Police Chief Terry Brannon was contacted Friday about the possible embezzlement by Quarterback Club President Bill Ahrberg and Cushing High School Athletic Director Pat Elder. Brannon says the investigation needs the help of a seasoned financial investigator and the OSBI can provide that. No charges have been filed, and the amount of the possible loss is still undetermined.
