Tulsa Magician Del Wilson will join the line up on center stage Friday night August 14 during the 2nd annual Love thy Neighbor kick-off event at Whitlock Park in Drumright. Wilson serves as the International President of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians. A skilled magician, Wilson uses his talent to teach the lessons of the bible while entertaining the crowd with magic tricks. Additionally Wilson has written numerous books aimed at teaching others his ministry, tricks and skills.
The Fellowship of Christian Magicians is an international organization of people, from all walks of life, dedicated to using a high standard of presentation of the Gospel and to leading the lost to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus told us to “Go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” We do this by using visual illustrations and helping others develop their talent for Gospel presentation using sleight of hand, optical illusion, ventriloquism, puppets, balloons, clowning, juggling, storytelling, and other visual arts” said Wilson.
Love thy Neighbor is a community wide event sponsored by Drumright area churches and businesses. The Kick-Off begins at 6:00 pm in Whitlock Park in Drumright. The entire evening is free. Hot dogs, drinks, cotton candy, popcorn will be available. Inflatable jumping fun, face painting, nail art and many more activities will also be available. Come join the fun.
